HealthDay - MONDAY, July 7 (HealthDay News) -- The widely prescribed class ofantidepressants known as SSRIs may be associated with bleeding bulk l-carnitine base theupper gastrointestinal tract, especially when taken with painkillerscalled nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, a new study says.

The average scalp contains about 100,000 hairs, and may lose about 100 a day. Each individual hair lives for about 4-1/2 years, growing about a half inch per month.
